Several years ago I was fortunate enough to be a guest on the Diz Runs Radio podcast with Denny Krahe to chat about all things running. Denny comes from an athletic training & running coach background, so we enjoyed nerding out about running injury prevention, strength training, and a little bit about running form. Denny must have been an 'early adapter' in the podcast world, as I was on episode 590, and currently he is up to 1194!! That must be the equivalent of ultra running in the podcast world.

The Diz Runs With Podcast, Every Runner Has a Story...

Towards the end of this episode, Denny asked a great question about how to keep up with all of the changes in the running medicine & training / coaching world. I think my wishy washy answer still applies - find & follow people who appear to stay up-to-date on the research & best practices. I'll strive to be one of those people, but it sure isn't easy!

Speaking of changes, the ideas & exercises fundamental to gait analysis & PR Running class haven't really changed much since we recorded this, but my life certainly has! I've changed jobs twice since then, first going corporate before going solo; our class has changed names twice as well (long story), from Running Strong to Power Running to now PR Running; & we've moved from Louisiana to Virginia. All changes have been for the better so far!

Please give it a listen and then checkout the other 1000 or so episodes as well. I'm also a little partial to this one: Walker Higgins on Diz Runs

Thanks and Happy Running!
